South Hilo Community Policing Section is proud to partner in the Neighborhood Place of Puna’s first annual Stuff Da Bus event

The South Hilo Community Policing Section is proud to partner in the Neighborhood Place of Puna’s first annual Stuff Da Bus event, scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2026.

As part of this community effort, the Hawaii Police Department will be hosting a school supply drop box at the South Hilo Station, 349 Kapiolani Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. Community members are encouraged to donate new school supplies for East Hawaii Keiki.

Accepted donations include:

   -Pencils, pens, and crayons

   -Composition books

   -Folders and binders

   -Backpacks

   -Scissors, glue sticks, and rulers

   -Any additional school supplies

The drop box will be available through July 18th.

Officers from the Hilo and Puna Community Policing Sections will be on-site at the Stuff Da Bus event, providing Keiki ID cards and meeting with students in attendance.

The Neighborhood Place of Puna’s Stuff Da Bus event brings together community organizations, volunteers, and donors to collect school supplies for students across East Hawaii. The Hawai’i Police Department remains committed to strengthening community relationships and supporting the families we serve.
