Antonio “Tony” Lowane Amoguis, 86, of Kealakekua died Dec. 17 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Kohala, he was a dining room manager at the former Kona Inn and Kona Surf hotels, janitorial manager at the former Kona Surf hotel and courier for Clinical Labs. Services at a later date. Survived by wife, Margaret Amoguis; son, Anthony (Ramona) Amoguis; daughters, Bernadette (Billy Steven) Amoguis, Jasmine (George Gaspar) Amoguis and Charlene (Jeff) Pryor; brother-in-law, Harold (Trudi) Awa; sisters-in-law, Gladys Nacis, Pinake Minamishin and Ulu Llanes; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
