Paul Kumekichi Nahinu, 59, of North Kohala died July 14 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in North Kohala, he was a golf course maintenance worker, U.S. Army veteran and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward. Walk-thru service 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the family home, 55-451 Hawi Rd. Light refreshments will be given to go. Masks and social distancing required. Do not attend if you are not feeling well. No flowers or gifts. Condolences to: P.O. Box 507, Hawi, HI 96719. Survived by mother, Lillian (Warren) Ching of North Kohala; sisters, Keala Medeiros of Maryland, Kamila (Dave) Hedge of California and Warrene Ching of Oahu; brother, Darrell (Stephanie) Ching of Oahu; cousins, nieces and nephews.
