Hatsue Hayashi
Hatsue Hayashi, 89, of Hawi, died Nov. 20, 2021, at her residence. Born in Kohala, she was a homemaker and a member of the St. Augustine Episcopal Church and the Kohala Senior Citizen Club.
Private services held. No koden (monetary donations).
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Hayashi of Hawi and Sharon (Michael) Medina of Kona; son, Jay (Joey) Hayashi of Kona; sister, Hanako Yamamoto of Keaau; one granddaughter, two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
