Ige signs off on new DOH lab, school supply subsidies
HONOLULU — After weeks of photo-friendly signing ceremonies for high-profile bills, Gov. David Ige spent the past weekend putting serious ink to paper to enact more than a hundred less hyped but potentially just as impactful bills addressing health care, education and other perennial concerns.
House Bill 2515, for one, provides for a new Department of Health laboratory capable of high-complexity testing for diseases and for air and water quality.
