HAWAIʻI COUNTY SEEKS APPLICANTS FOR TEMPORARY SUMMER FUN EMPLOYMENT
Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation invites applicants for temporary summer employment for the 2023 Summer Fun Program.
The Department is looking for staff who can motivate and help develop a successful summer fun experience for keiki under their supervision. The preferred applicant will have enthusiasm; the ability to plan, organize and conduct activities; patience; and a desire to help children grow and develop.
Applicants must possess a current First Aid certification, submit a completed Summer Fun application, and be available to work May 30 through July 14, 2023. Summer Fun programs begin June 5, 2023, following a mandatory four-day training period for all Summer Fun staff.
Summer Fun applications are available online at https://www.parks.hawaiicounty.gov/facilities-parks/recreation, the department’s recreation division office at 799 Pi‘ilani Street in Hilo, and various County gymnasiums located around the island.
Completed applications must be filed with the recreation division or postmarked by Friday, February 28, 2023.
