Single story double wall wood house with metal roof and with attached garage.
Fire was extinguished by E18 personnal prior to it extending to main structure and living
areas. Major fire and smoke damge to garage with loss of all contents. Garage is 461 square
feet. Mimimal smoke damge to living quarters of structure no interior. Helco disconected
power to the residence. Fire crews were then able complete overhaul. Scene was left to HPD
and Red Cross. There was a minor injury to an occupant, who refused treatment or transport.
Heavy smoke noted coming from left side of 2302
square foot structure. Upon arrival garage was fully
engulfed in flames. All occupants were accounted for
and an offensive attack on the fire in the garage was
initiated.
