Open lot w/ 30ftx 8 ft mobile home on trailer
Open Lot, mobile home on a trailer 100% involved
Multiple HFD units and HPD were dispatched to Lani Kona Rd. in Captain Cook for a trailer mounted mobile home. Upon arrival Co20 found a 30′ x 8′ trailer mounted mobile home 100% involved in fire. One persons remains were discovered in the course of fire fighting operations. HFD units were able to keep the fire from spreading to near by brush being impinged by the fire.There were no fire hydrants near by so water was provided by Engine 20 and Tanker 20 to complete the overhaul process. HFD units cleared the scene and HPD secured the scene until fire inspectors could perform an investigation. The scene was then turned over to HPD.
