Vibrant Hawaiʻi Invites Vendors to Submit Proposals for Kaukau 4 Keiki Summer Food Program

Hawaiʻi Island – Vibrant Hawaiʻi is seeking vendor proposals to supply food items for the Kaukau 4 Keiki Summer Food Service Program, which will operate across Hawaiʻi Island from June 15 through July 24, 2026.

As the sponsor agency for Hawaiʻi County under the USDA Summer Food Service Program, Vibrant Hawaiʻi coordinates meal distribution through partner sites islandwide to ensure keiki have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session. The program is expected to provide breakfast and lunch supplies for approximately 9,500 keiki over the six-week summer period.

Vibrant Hawaiʻi is requesting bids from qualified food suppliers and vendors to provide the required program food items. A full list of requested items and quantities is available in the bid materials.
