This Friday, July 31 starting at 1pm, Maunakea Observatories @ Home will host a live Q&A session with some of the behind the scenes stars of Maunakea Astronomy moderated by Spaceman Steve Mairs.
Meet John Kuroda, software engineer at the East Asian Observatory, Callie Crowder, remote observer at the Canada-France-Hawai’i Telescope and Mari-Ela Chock, communications officer at the W. M. Keck Observatory. They’ll be ready to answer all your questions about what they do, working on Maunakea, and what excites them about their experiences in astronomy.
