Nancy Tomie Asai, 89, of Kapaau died Sept. 2. Born in Kukuihaele, she was a retired clerk-typist for Kohala High and Elementary School. Services pending. She is survived by her son, Neal of Kapaau; daughters, Nanette (Jonathan) Saito and Nadine Asai of Honolulu; two grandsons.
