This is an Eruption update for Sunday, December 4th at 7 in the morning.
Hawaiian Volcano Observatory reports Fissure #3 as the only active flow on Mauna Loa Volcano. The leading edge continues to have minimal movement and remains near the 7,000 foot elevation and more than 2 miles from Daniel K. Inouye Highway.

The Daniel K. Inouye Highway is open in both directions.
Motorists on Daniel K. Inouye Highway, due to reports of vehicle congestion, expect and plan for delays between the 28 and the 34 Mile Markers. The speed limit near the Mauna Kea Access Road and Gilbert Kahele Park has been reduced to 35 MPH.
