Official Report….Government Beach Road Brush Fire….HPP

Cause is unknown
All units responded to above location for report of a brush fire. Upon arrival found
approximately 0.5 acre brush fire, smoldering type involving thick pine needle type fuel in an
understory of Iron wood trees. Fire was contained with minimal spread. Fire extinguished,
water shuttle operation set up due to limited access to fire. Overhaul of fire completed and
survey of burned area revealed no hot spots or threats of spreading all units returned to
quarters.
