Humpback whale visitor center in Kihei reopens
KIHEI, Hawaii — The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary’s visitor center reopened to the public after a five-year closure dedicated to a full redesign of the interior that features new interactive exhibits highlighting whale biology, research, disentanglement and the importance of the sanctuary, according to a news release.
