Laura Ann (Elarco) Souza, 73, of North Kohala died Aug. 29 at home. Born in North Kohala, she worked for the Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach Prince hotels. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by husband, John H. Souza Jr.; sons, Dominic and Scott of North Kohala; hanai daughter Jessica Andrade Kahaulelio of North Kohala; brother, Graciano Elarco Jr.; sisters, Gwen (Rod) Arias of Hilo and Cecilia (Ross) Alaimo of Kohala; grandchildren and great-grand children; nieces and nephews.
