Henry James Caravalho, 86, of Waimea died April 22 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a manager of Kamuela Shell, worked at BioGenics in Kohala, member of Kohala Puerto Rican Club and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at New Hope Waimea. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Inurnment at a later date at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. The celebration of life will also be for his wife, Annie Leilani Caravalho, who died March 8. Condolences to P.O. Box 7018, Hilo, HI 96720. Survived by daughters, Nadine Kanekoa of Anchorage, Alaska, Natalie (Edward) Texeira of Hilo, Nonette Lei (Raymond) Castro of Keaau and Nanette Ipo Dill of Waimea; sister, Irene Perez of Kona; half-sisters, Dora Perreira of Waimea, Cheryl Lewi-Caravalho and Bernadine Lewi-Caravalho of Kona; half-brothers, Ernest Caravalho of Waimea and Tino (Leona) Caravalho of Hilo; stepsisters, Sandra Lewi and Francine Lewi of Kona, Nora Fernandez of Kohala; stepbrother, Oligario Fernandez of Kohala; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
