Wood frame single family dwelling, built on cement slab, with corrugated metal roof, approx 1000 sq ft.
On arrival found abandoned single story woooden frame with metal roof, single family dwelling 40% involved with fire and smoke. Per park ranger on scence abandoned building no one inside. Started offensive fire attack with two preconnect 1″ 3/4 lines . Fire under control within 15 minutes. Scene turned over to HPD Cause under investigation. Fire inspector responding from Hilo.
Cause is under investigation.
