KAILUA-KONA — Last season, Kohala boys basketball almost made history.
After winning the BIIF Division II Boys Basketball Championship, the Cowboys found themselves back in the state semifinals a week later — trying to clinch their third consecutive DII state championship. But the dream was unfortunately cut short to Seabury Hall, as the Spartans won 59-49 in the 2023-24 DII state final rematch.
