Hawaiʻi County Announces Upcoming Learn to Swim Program

The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation announces the return of its Learn to Swim Program for the Summer 2026 season.

Designed to teach keiki essential swimming skills, promote water safety and build confidence, the program is offered at County pools across the island in June and July.

“Water safety isn’t just a recreational skill in Hawai‘i — it’s a necessity,” said Mayor Kimo Alameda. “We are excited to welcome keiki back to our pools this summer to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can develop a lifelong love for swimming.”
