Rosemary “Mary” Yamamoto, 69, of Kohala died June 8 at home. Born in Kohala, she was a retired food service worker at Kohala High School and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward, 55-524 Hawi Rd. in Hawi. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Survived by husband, Jeffrey K. Yamamoto; sons, Joshua (Sarah) Yamamoto and Justin Yamamoto; daughters, Larissa (Seth) Beck, Rachael (Gerald) Inamine and Rebecca (Kevin) Iokepa; sisters, Cynthia (Eugene) Amar and Priscilla (Ralph) Galan; brother-in-law, Wesley (Tarne) Yamamoto; sisters-in-law, Faye Gutierres, Beverlee (Wayne) Yoneda and Rae (Elston) Takayama 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
