Wanette Momilani Ramos, 65, of Hawi died June 19 in San Antonio. Born in Kohala, she was a homemaker and caregiver, and attended Gospel of Salvation Church. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at Gospel Of Salvation Church in Hawi. Celebration of life 10 a.m.-noon. Luncheon to follow. Casual attire. Survived by daughters, Kealii (Robin Marquez) Carvalho and U‘ilani (Hailama) Anakalea of Kohala; son, Patrick Ramos Jr. of Hawi; hanai daughters Lori (Kanoho) DiMaggio of Las Vegas, Rina (Greg) Alejo of Maui and Celeste (Chewy Fernandez) Carvalho of Kohala; sisters, Uilani (Luis) Gutierrez of Schertz, Texas and Roberta Bounos of Kona; brothers, Gordon (Carol) Carvalho of Laupahoehoe, Jacinth “Cinto Boy” (Carma) Carvalho, Larry Carvalho and Garry Carvalho of Hawi; 10 grandchildren, eight hanai grandchildren and 3 hanai great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
