Hawaii Island Police are searching for a male suspect involved in a shooting of a police officer at a financial institution adjacent to the Prince Kuhio Plaza.

Suspect is identified as 39-year-old Christopher Lucrisia
5’10”, 250 pounds, Green Eyes, Black Hair, Puerto Rican

Lucrisia is suspected of shooting a police officer two times. He fled the scene as a passenger in a white Chevy pickup truck, lic # ZLD014, headed in the direction of the airport. Driver of pick up truck is also male.

Suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach. If seen, please call 911.
