Elizabeth “Dinky” Victoria Karratti, 66, of Kapaau died May 22 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a clerk for Kohala Hospital and member of Gospel of Salvation Church in Kohala. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Jodo Mission Hall in Hawi. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Fellowship and luncheon to follow. Survived by son, Vernon W.T. (Bambi) Karratti of Kapaau; daughters, Verina (Boy) Fong of Kailua-Kona, Nalani (Bulla) Reich of Waimea and Vergina (Ka‘i) Karratti of Kapaau; brother, Theodore “Bozo” (Anita) Ventula of Kalihi, Oahu; sisters, Janet “Nana” Ballio of Kapolei, Oahu, Estralita “Lita” (Larry) Seaberger of California, Sarah Shim of Kula, Maui, Eleanor “Joy” (Darryl) Honda of Honolulu; godchildren, Wayne Akana Jr. of Indianapolis, Waynette Akana of Honolulu and Jimi-Jean Camp of Waimea; 38 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
