• The Kailua-Kona Public Library offers a presentation at 5:30 p.m. featuring Carolyn Parcheta, a geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey at the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory who monitors and documents Kilauea’s volcanic activity.
