Robert Naihe Sr., 89, of Hilo died Nov. 23 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was a retired roofer for the Hilo Pacific Roofing Co. and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keaukaha Ward. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 12) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Casual or aloha attire; flowers welcome. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Survived by wife, Daisy Naihe of Hilo; son, Robert (Tina Marie) Naihe Jr. of Kohala; daughters, Daisy Mae (Rudy) Kamohai, Lurae (Charles) Hanohano, Candace (Daniel) Aina and Tracey (Raynard) Kapuni of Hilo, Elizabeth (Lance) Benevides of Volcano and Lee Ann (Leonard) Napierskie of Neosho, Mo.; brother, Herbert Naihe of Waipahu, Oahu; sister, Margo Gonsalves of California; 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and eight-great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
