Kohala Obituary 1/5/2020
Maria Lucas Panag, 91, of Kapaau, died Jan. 5, 2020, at her residence. Born Nov. 30, 1928, in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired nursery worker at the Kohala Nursery and member of the Kohala Senior Citizens and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi for a 10 a.m. Mass followed by burial in the Hawi County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire be worn and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by sons, Virgilio (Virginia) Raquiza of Hawi, Reynald (Martha) Raquiza of Kamuela, Marcos (Remi) Raquiza of Kapaau; daughter, Marybel (Jaime) Macaspac of Kapaau; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
