Kiyomi Yamamoto, 98, of Honolulu, died Feb. 9, 2020 at Kuakini Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Kohala, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the 442nd Battalion, Company G.
He is survived by daughter, Carol (Tony) Ganiron; son, Alan Yamamoto; grandchildren, Kate (Travis) Furumoto and Micah Ganiron; sisters, Tsugiko (Thomas) Yamasaki and Kazuyo Maeda. Private service.
