Kohala Obituary 11/28/2020
Alan Andrew Carvalho, 62, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 28, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in North Kohala, on July 16, 1958, he was a laborer for Unlimited Construction Company and Hawaiian Dredging. He was a truck driver for Hamakua Sugar and West Hawaii Concrete; laborer for Aina Ola, Inc. Construction Company and a member of Laborers International Union of North America and an avid fisherman.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey Cosma-Carvalho of Kailua-Kona; sons, Jayme (Clarissa) Carvalho of Ookala, Justyn (Shelley) Carvalho of Paauilo, Kapanaia (Ailani Anderson) Carvalho of Waimea, Isaac Carvalho of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Alana (Namakana) Carvalho of Waimea and Phoebe (Lucas Barte) Carvalho of Las Vegas; hanai daughter, Kaila Lucas of Kailua-Kona; brother, Anthony (Jackie) Carvalho of Waimea; sisters, Jeannine Mattos of Kohala, Mapuana Carvalho of Waimea, Leina (Carter) Carvalho of Waimea; a sister-in-law; 11 grandchildren; aunties and uncle; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
