Violet Caravalho
Violet Nora Caravalho, 89, of Kapaau, died Feb. 15, 2022 in Waimea. Born Oct. 14, 1932 in Kohala, she was a retired waitress for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and a member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Kohala Senior Citizens Club.
Friends may call fro 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. March 12 at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church; eulogy at 9:45 a.m.; funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Casual attire.
She is survived by son, Harvey (Eva) Caravalho of Kohala; daughters, Susan (James) Keadle and Stella (Warren) Mendoza, all of Las Vegas, and Patricia (Craig) Higaki of Waimea; sister, Margaret (Charles) Cosbodillo of Honolulu; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
