Sandra Botelho
Sandra Lee (Hoover) Botelho, 83, of Arizona and formerly of North Kohala, died June 30, 2022, in Marana, Arizona. Born Sept. 16, 1938, in Lansing, Michigan, she was a retired bus driver, teacher’s aid, ukulele instructor and path finder leader for the Kohala Mission School, and member of the Kohala Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. July 30 at Hawi Seventh Day Adventist Church; service at 10:30, followed by inurnment at the church’s cemetery.
She is survived by sons, John (Merlyn) Botelho of Hawi, Paul (Robin) Botelho of North Carolina, Joseph (Joni) Botelho of Marana, Arizona, James Botelho, Jeff Goddard, Rich Schneider of Maine; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sharon Botelho of Kapaau, and Bonnie Botelho of Colorado; brother-in-law, Bob Morikawa of Honolulu; and hanai sister, Patricia Cabral-Takata of California.
Arrangements by Desert Rose Heather Cremation in Arizona.
