ENGAGE IN SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HAWAII’S WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE

The County of Hawai‘i invites residents and stakeholders to engage in a series of public meetings, to participate in the development of the Integrated Wastewater Management Plan. Mayor Mitch Roth, accompanied by a panel of experts, will lead a discussion on the Statewide cesspool ban and the options to be explored in the plan. Feasible options include expansion of the existing sewer system, adding new sewer districts, and private landowner cesspool upgrades.
