South Kohala Water Conservation Notice CANCELLED
AFFECTED AREAS: PUAKŌ, KAWAIHAE VILLAGE TO KAWAIHAE HARBOR AND
INDUSTRIAL AREA, AND THE FOLLOWING RESORT AREAS:
MAUNA LANI/FAIRMONT ORCHID, HĀPUNA PRINCE, MAUNA KEA
BEACH HOTEL, AND ADJACENT SUBDIVISIONS/DEVELOPMENTS;
SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
This is an important update from Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i.
Effective immediately, the Department of Water Supply has cancelled the voluntary water
conservation notice for all South Kohala water customers served by the Lālāmilo Water System.
Normal water use may now resume.
The Department sincerely acknowledges the community’s efforts to reduce their water usage while the
conservation notice was in effect. MAHALO for your kokua!
