ALTERNATING ONE LANE ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
AFFECTED AREA: AKONI PULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270), KAPA‘AU, NORTH
KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will be working on Akoni Pule Highway
near the intersection with Holy Bakery Road from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 28,
2024, to replace a service lateral. One alternating lane with traffic control will remain open throughout
the installation. Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly.
