Be Part of Tourism Day at the Capitol on March 8

The Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority invites the public to learn more about Hawaiʻi’s visitor industry on Friday, March 8 during the 7th Annual Tourism Day at the Capitol. We are proud to host Tourism Day in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Lodging & Tourism Association, Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, and Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association.

Our team will be sharing information on the progress being made to advance our regenerative tourism mission, the latest destination stewardship and community initiatives occurring on each island, market insights from our Global Marketing Team covering the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Korea, China and Oceania, and more. Attendees are encouraged to visit our booth for more information about our work and to engage with our staff.

This event has evolved into an important platform, bringing together an extensive network of visitor industry establishments, community partners, and cultural organizations to educate legislators and government officials about the significance of Hawai‘i’s diverse tourism sector. The gathering is also an opportunity to showcase work across the visitor industry to advance regenerative tourism initiatives that seek to balance the economics of tourism with the well-being of our communities and natural resources.

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate in Tourism Day at the Capitol by joining the Visitor Industry Trade Show. To secure your spot as an exhibitor, please sign up here. Space is limited and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee to host a booth and exhibitor tables will be provided.

Please note that Capitol security measures are in place to ensure the safety of all attendees. This includes the use of walkthrough metal detectors and X-ray machines for bags, and a photo ID is required for entry into the building
