Adelaida “Aida” Ventura Juan, 53, of Hawi died Dec. 6 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a butcher for M. Nakahara Store, secretary for Steamach Engineering Corp. in Philippines and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. All-night vigil 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at the family home, 55-401 Hawi Rd. Visitation 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Hawi. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by mother, Carlina Juan of Hawi; brothers, Domingo (Lorna) Juan of Philippines and Leandro (Marilyn) Juan of Honolulu; sister, Valentina (Dominador) Ricco of Hawi; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
