Kubota’s Hometown Proud program is awarding $50,000 grants ($25,000 cash + $25,000 equipment voucher) to nonprofit organizations with a community project. Applications are due May 9. Apply here.

GoFarm AgriFloristry course accepting applications
AgriFloristry is an 8-week course that blends technical knowledge and field experience with local market and business insight to help you grow, source, or design with flowers successfully, from seed to sale. The class runs June 4–July 26 and includes evening virtual classes and weekend field trips on Hawaiʻi Island or Oʻahu. Applications are due May 12. Apply here.

Agricultural Leadership Program (ALP) accepting applications
The Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaiʻi has opened recruitment for ALP Class XIX. ALP is a 14-month educational program that offers an in-depth look at Hawaiʻi’s agricultural and natural resource systems through site visits and discussions, leadership workshops, networking opportunities, and first-hand exposure to government processes at the state and national level. Grant for entrepreneurs in agriculture
The Farm Bureau’s Ag Innovation Challenge is a national business competition that showcases U.S. startups developing innovative solutions to address challenges facing America’s farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.
