2025 Kaukau for Keiki – Program Dates
Upcoming Registration Dates
Hawaiʻi Island — Vibrant Hawaiʻi is proud to continue its role as the Sponsor Agency for the USDA Summer Food Service Program, Kaukau 4 Keiki, serving Hawaiʻi County. Since 2021, this vital program has provided thousands of healthy, locally sourced meals to keiki during the summer months when school is out.
Registration for the Summer 2025 program will be open from May 26–30, 2025. Families are encouraged to register early, as space is limited and participation is on a first come, first served basis.
How to Register:
- Visit www.vibranthawaii.org/kaukau4keiki starting 8:00 AM each day during the registration window.
- Register based on your child’s Department of Education (DOE) School District.
- Submit one application per child.
- A valid phone number is required for application processing.
Program Eligibility:
- Children ages 18 and under
- Individuals age 19 and over enrolled in school programs for persons with disabilities
- Must reside in an eligible area
- Must not be participating in another USDA summer meal program (e.g., DOE Summer Meals)
- Meals must be picked up in the child’s town of residence or the closest available site
