We’re excited to announce that Dolphin Quest will host a Science Talk with Dr. Randall Wells, the director of the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program – the world’s longest-running study of a wild dolphin population!

You are cordially invited to meet Dr. Wells in person, who will share fascinating insights about dolphin research, conservation, and how long-term studies like this help protect wild marine mammals. It’s an opportunity to hear directly from a leading expert in marine science.

Dr. Wells co-founded and directs the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program which was initiated in 1970. His PhD research focused on Hawaiian spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins in Florida. Dr. Wells has worked internationally on marine mammal conservation and serves on the U.S. Marine Mammal Commission’s Committee of Scientific Advisors and the IUCN Cetacean Specialist Group.
