Hale “Hama” Haruto Hamada, 82, of Kapolei, Oahu, formerly of Captain Cook, died Feb. 8 at home. Born in Kohala, Hawaii, he was a retired switching technician, installer/repairman, and lineman for the former Hawaiian Telephone Co.
