Kathleen “Mrs. O” Herald Ogasawara, 81, of Kapaau died Jan. 20 at Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. She was a secretary at Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Visitation 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hawi. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Lunch to follow in the hall. Survived by husband, Gordon Ogasawara of Kapaau; son, Brian (Rachel) Ogasawara of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Jennifer (John Jr.) Keawe of Kapaau; brother, Terry (Nadine) Herald of Arkansas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
