The National Weather Service Flood Watch for the State and Island of Hawaii remains in effect through Friday.
This afternoon, winds from the south are forecast to increase.
Due to the Flood Watch and forecast winds, be advised:
- Residents in flood prone areas, please prepare for potential flooding rains and high winds.
- Be aware of downed trees and stay clear of utility lines.
- Road closures may occur without notice
- Do not attempt to cross flowing water in a vehicle or on foot; turn around don’t drown.
- Remember, if lightning threatens your area, the safest place to be is indoors.
