The Hawaiʻi Fire Department (HFD) is seeking public input on its services and priorities as it develops a strategic plan.

To help shape the plan, residents are invited to participate in a brief survey as well as participate in a series of community meetings. The survey asks for input on topics such as service and planning priorities, public communication methods, and recommended improvements.

“The survey takes only a few minutes, but your feedback will help make sure we deliver the best services for our community,” said Mayor Kimo Alameda.

The survey can be accessed via: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HawaiiCountyCommunitySurvey.

“The Fire Department exists to save life and property, safeguard the community and serve the public with aloha,” said Temporary Fire Chief Daniel Volpe. “This survey will help to ensure that your Fire Department can take the right steps forward to respond to any call for today, tomorrow, and into the future.”
