Carolyn “Skippy” Tomiyama, 90, died Oct. 19 in Kohala. Born in Honolulu, she was a member of the Gospel of Salvation Church. A Celebration of Life will be held from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at the Kohala Gospel of Salvation Church. Service at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow. Lei welcome. Red attire encouraged. Private interment on Oahu. Survived by Kwaj (Willy) Perez of Kohala, Neal “Duffy” Auld of Costa Rica, Judy Morris of Waimea, Sharon Goodman of Waikoloa, Andy Goodman of Kohala, Terry-John (April) Tomiyama of Kohala, Bruce Puni Tomiyama of Kailua, Brian Pono (Sonya Marumoto) Tomiyama of Kailua, Joslyn Perez (caregiver), brother, James “Kimo” (Elizabeth) Wong; 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
