Wayne Lono Pule, Jr., 60, died on Nov. 22 at home in Riverside, Calif. Born in Kohala, he graduated Kohala High School in 1982 and worked in the construction industry. Service on Saturday, March 22 at Sacred Heart Church in Hawi. Visitation will be from 8-9:45 a.m.; eulogy from 9:45-10 a.m. with Mass to follow from 10-11 a.m. Casual attire. Burial at a later date. Survived by wife, Rose Mejia Pule of Riverside, Calif.; daughter Anela (Tony Velasco) Pule of Riverside, Calif.; son Darien-Joe (DJ) Pule of Riverside, Calif., and daughter Kanani Pule (deceased); brothers Joseph (Cherina) Pule of Fairbanks, Alaska; Eric (Susan) Pule of Corona, Calif. and sister Danielle (Chris Cochran) Pule of Gig Harbor, Wash.; mother Pauline H. Pule of Kohala; Father Wayne L. Pule, Sr. (Cynthia) of Corona, Calif., grandchildren Weston and Makenah Velasco of Riverside, Calif. and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
