Hilo Driver License Office Relocating on May 11

The Hilo Driver License Office will be relocated to 120 Pauahi St. beginning Monday, May 11.

The license office, currently located at the Hawaiʻi Public Safety Building at 349 Kapiolani St., will be closed on Friday, May 8 to accommodate the transition. It will reopen at 8 a.m. May 11 at the new location (former Bank of Hawaiʻi branch on the first floor).

Relocating the office is part of an effort to consolidate the Hilo driver licensing and motor vehicle registration services into one convenient location. The Hilo Motor Vehicle Registration Office is currently located across the street at 101 Pauahi St. and will be moved to 120 Pauahi St. at a later date
