.A large west-northwest (280-310 degrees) will slowly ease today,
then trend back up tonight through Tuesday as a similar west-
northwest swell arrives.
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Surf of 12 to 16 feet along north and west facing shores
of Niihau, Kauai, and Oahu. Surf of 10 to 15 feet along north
facing shores of Molokai and Maui. Surf of 8 to 12 feet along
west facing shores of Molokai and 7 to 10 feet along west
facing shores of the Big Island.
* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu,
Molokai, north facing shores of Maui, and west facing shores of
the Big Island.
* WHEN...Surf will slowly ease today, then trend back up tonight
through Tuesday night.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
