Helen Mililani Lindsey Roman, 101, of Hilo died Nov. 16, 2022, at her home. Born in South Kohala, she was a homemaker and member of the Hilo Women’s Club. Private services held. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and koden (monetary gifts), donations may be made in memory of Helen Mililani Lindsey Roman to Hawaii Care Choices. Survived by children, Robert (Claudia) Roman of Kurtistown, Randall Roman of Florida, Martha Gardner of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Ernestine Lindsey. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
