Eric Masao Fujii, 67, of Kapaau died March 29 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in North Kohala, he was a retired electronics technician, U.S. Navy petty officer first-class, master service technician at Alert Alarm Hawaii and longtime Kohala High School wrestling coach. Private services held at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by wife, Kyoko Fujii of Kapaau; daughters, Sherry Kana (Justin) Okuyama and Mai (Casey) Ogawa of Hilo, Miho (Ryan) Sobredo of California; parents, Zen and Iris Fujii of North Kohala; brothers, Jeffry Jay (Sharon) Fujii of Kapolei, Oahu, and Vance (Grace) Fujii of Honokaa; a granddaughter; an aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.
